Maintaining the correct posture while using the Marodyne LiV device is crucial for several reasons:
Effectiveness: Proper posture ensures that the Low-intensity Vibrations are transmitted effectively through your body, maximising the therapeutic benefits of the device.
Safety: Correct posture helps prevent falls and injuries by maintaining balance and stability.
Comfort: Good posture reduces strain on your muscles and joints, making the session more comfortable and sustainable.

Stand upright: Stand with your feet shoulder-width apart, and your body weight evenly distributed.
Do not lean forward: Avoid leaning forward to look at the display. This will throw you off balance. If your balance is incorrect and the device cannot accommodate it, an alarm will sound.
Relaxed stance: You do not have to stand perfectly still. A relaxed stance with slight natural movements is okay.
Balanced: Toes positioned just below the Marodyne logo above the display, and feet evenly spaced either side of the display. Ensure you are not off balance to mitigate the risk of falling.

For optimal performance and to avoid damage, it’s important to position the Marodyne LiV device correctly.
Surface: Place the device on a stable, flat surface.
Floor type: For wooden floors, ensure the feet on the same side of the device (front to back) are on a single strip of wood, not across joints. For tiles, place the device so it is not on the grouting inbetween tiles. If the tiles are large enough, try to position the device so all four feet are on the same tile.
If you experience any issues, try moving the device to another area. Avoid placing it on uneven or soft surfaces like high-pile carpets, which can affect balance and performance, and ensure the device is fully supported and does not wobble.

If the ‘balance’ warning light appears even when you are standing still and the device is on a hard, flat surface, there may be a few reasons for this:
Sensor sensitivity: The device’s sensors are highly responsive. The alarm will sound if you are incorrectly balanced. If your position is not corrected after the alarm has sounded, the device will automatically shut down.
Foot placement: Make sure your feet are placed evenly on the platform. Minor shifts in weight or uneven distribution will trigger the balance lights. Please keep your head up and try not to look down at the display.
Device malfunction: Please contact us for further assistance.
After completing a session, if the device starts by itself, consider the following:
Power cycle: Please turn the device off at the rocker switch after your session. Sometimes, a power anomaly may trigger a restart.
Standby mode: Please do not leave your device in standby mode, which could lead to unintended operation. Always power down completely after use by switching your device off at the wall.
If you have any persisting issues with your Marodyne LiV device, please do not hesitate to get in touch by clicking the button below.
